🗼 Landmark spotsThe Bardini Garden, on the hillside between Costa San Giorgio and Borgo San Niccolò, is no match for Boboli in terms of panoramic views of Florence. There are many varieties of flowers and plants. A green area in the centre of the city, divided into three parts: the orchard to the east, the baroque staircase in the centre and the English garden to the west. All the main monuments of the Tuscan capital can be seen here, including the library which houses some six million books. The Bardini Garden is named after the famous antique dealer Stefano Bardini (1854-1922), who was the last owner of the garden. In spring, the visit is all the more fascinating when the wisteria, but also the roses, azaleas and hydrangeas, are in bloom. For a stroll through the countryside!
